Our Roots

«I was born and raised in Thessaloniki to a Greek father and a German mother. My Greek family comes from the mountainous Arnea, a place that I used to visit very often as a child.

In 2003, when I first started setting up the vineyards and Winery, there was only one thought on my mind: “I am going back to my roots”.
Now, looking at the vineyard and our wines with my children by my side, I can honestly say I feel whole.»

The current capacity of Claudia Papagianni Winery is 200,000 bottles with the potential to increase production to 800,000 bottles. The cellar houses 104 Allier & Nevers oak barrels. The majority of the barrels are of French origin and there are 20 Americans.
